InspiringApps Announces Partnership with ZOLL Medical

March 11, 2011; Boulder, Colorado—InspiringApps, a privately-held, Boulder-based company, announced today a partnership with ZOLL Medical Corporation (Nasdaq GS: ZOLL), a manufacturer of medical devices and related software solutions, to offer patient care reports on the iPad.

The ePCR for iPad app caught the interest of ZOLL Medical after receiving an outstanding response from EMS and Fire professionals when presented last fall by InspiringApps at industry trade shows in Dallas, Las Vegas and Keystone, Colorado. The ePCR for iPad app brings intuitive, electronic iPad access to patient care reporting.

“We have been overwhelmed by the initial interest and excitement over this app. ZOLL’s expertise in supporting EMS and Fire markets will make it even stronger.” says InspiringApps CEO and President, Brad Weber.

There are approximately 60 million PCRs filled out each year in the United States. ePCR for iPad improves the reporting process, and patient care, by speeding up processing for organizations still relying on a paper system, making electronic reporting affordable to organizations of all sizes and offering more accurate, complete and reliable reports to hospitals and insurers.

The app includes time-stamping, auto calculations of age and mileage, auto populated narrative for an easier SOAP (subjective objective assessment and plan), and one-tap access to all data input screens. It also allows multi-agency login support, stylus-free signature capabilities, and the flagging of incomplete
sections.

“We are excited to be able to offer EMS professionals new technology to assist them in the life-saving situations they face every day. Our commitment is to offer applications that simplify data collection and improve access to information,” said ZOLL President, David Brown. “We hope the operational and economical efficiencies our ePCR iPad solution provides will enable more EMS organizations to adopt electronic patient care reporting.”

The ePCR for iPad app will be available late May, 2011 as a free download from Appleʼs App store. Customers will pay $2 per run to use it.
